Reservoirs (Day 3)

Author's notes behind the cut..
Having set Sirius on fire last time, the main point of this one was to put him out again, whilst playing about with fire and water imagery. The prompt gave me the idea for the rain dream and James and Lily's conversation at the end of the section (which I like, because now I get both of their voices properly) The dream was supposed to be longer and sexier, but I forgot to write it and had to go back and put it in and I was getting tired. I think the shorter version fits the mood of the fic better, though, and gets across Remus' doubts more clearly.
And, as my power's gone out twice in the last ten minutes, and my poor dying laptop had no battery, I shall stop there before I have to retype any more of this.
