;_;

Um, can anyone think of somebody Remus might send a Christmas card to in 1981? I need an excuse to get him into a giftshop.

And I can't think of a single soul. Perhaps Dumbledore would like one.

You could go for the angsty route and have him send one to the Longbottoms, I suppose. That is a difficult question.

Or McGonagall?

Hagrid?

Shacklebolt?

i reckon at least once or twice he sent cards to harry (by muggle post), even though he knew the dursleys would likely destroy them immediately. see, i don't think he stayed away from harry/the dursleys quite so much as dumbledore would have liked. ;)

Personally, I would take an easy out and invent an aunt or something for him. ;)

Other than that I suppose you could pick a character that he doesn't know very well -- anothe Order member, or something -- but who's done something kind/thoughtful/nice for him recently. I can see Remus sending a Christmas card in return for something like that.

Lily's parents? They might have still been alive by then...

You could always be really emotional and have him buy a card and put it on James or Lily's grave. But I don't know. Could be kinda corny-ish.

Are his parents still alive? Or an aunt, perhaps?
