I love the subtle politics you've shown in this, kind of an elite class or rulers; the prefects. (and oh so lovable Remus stuck with that job).
So
everyone
knows about Sirius/Remus but themselves? boy, they're oblivious.
(and the prefects battle sounds so cool!)
