That was absolutely wonderful! I loved the developing relationship and the way all the peripheral characters fitted into the story. And the background was so believably painted (I had flashbacks to my old flat mate wailing when she got her timetable one year and had year tens on a Friday afternoon. And omg, OFSTED - the word to send shivers down teachers' spines.)
