I was going to gush at the kink meme but then I saw you'd reposted and figured I'd just come over here and do it, because I do not need to make any secret of my mad crazy love for this fic. :D It's been an absolute delight all along. The cast and the setting are both wonderfully fleshed out, (also, I'm a linguist, so was ridiculously gleeful about their field,) and there are so many lovely random details, the story about Arthur & Morgana's family and Merlin's Doctor Who stuff and Lance and everything. It's funny and sweet and Arthur & Merlin are just too adorable for words.

I'm also really impressed with how, even though Merlin's diabetes was obviously an important part of the fic, it didn't read like A Very Special Episode About Diabetes, if that makes sense. It was a relevant part of Merlin's life, but just that - part of his life, alongside all the other parts of his life. Which made it all feel very real. So massive kudos on that! And on everything, really, because this fic is just awesome. One of the most happy-making things I've had the pleasure to follow in quite a while. :D
