I always wonder why Peter doesn't ever get redeemed. Every other character seems to get fic written to explore their actions. Peter and Barty Crouch seem to be the only ones who are universally scorned. Peter fascinates me because he's so real. Good guys do turn and it drives me mad when people write him as treacherous from the beginning.
