I've always seen Sirius as one of those people who has to move to help himself think. He's also someone who desperately needs tangible reminders that he's escaped his family's influence, so I tend to let that add up to someone very tactile.

I'm finding it very interesting to walk the fine line between some sort of emotional realism and gentle humour. I don't want this to be too bleak, because it was a moderately hopeful period for these two, but you can't ignore Sirius' damage.
