Um. Gosh. I felt the urge to read your older stuff, and wow, just had to comment. I love this. It really, really resonates with me right now - Remus' loneliness, and the whole beautiful bleak but strangely hopeful atmosphere. How Sirius is never far from his thoughts. (And Middle English never goes amiss, either.)
