I know this is five years late, but I can't believe I've never commented on it. I read this a couple of years ago, and it's been one of those fics that has made its way into my personal headcanon. I saw it recced over at accio_rs_fics and had to reread it.

Honestly, this fic is just so painful. And it hurts so good. Sirius' conflict and the way he just wishes it could all go back to normal... And even though we could only see Remus through the filter of Sirius' eyes, you described him so beautifully. When he flinched, my heart ached. I don't have nearly as masterful a hold over the English language as you, so I can't begin to describe how much each scene touched me.
