*twitches* Argh. Definitely not! I have enough WIPs to sink a battleship. I sat there last night and thought, Hmm. I've got him out of Azkaban so what am I going to do about the rest of the book? Then I whimpered and wrote the easy version. This was a bit of self-indulgence, as this is one of my worlds, and I couldn't resist setting an AU there when I saw the prompt.
I was deliberately vague about Remus' condition. I skimmed through some myths but I couldn't find an avian equivalent of lycanthrophy. There are flying demons in that world, though, so I'm sure I could fake some equivalent.
