As we can pin down the exact period, I think it's a shame not to try to use it. It's great atmosphere.

Sirius is such a Londoner. To suddenly be allowed to be part of his city must be amazing. The Wizarding World is so tiny that it must be exhilarating for him to step into the Muggle city and meet all these people his parents told him were less than human. I don't think Sirius takes anything like that for granted.
