The only canonical descriptions I can find of the Longbottoms say they were very popular and famous Aurors. In OotP Alice is described as having a round and friendly face and looking like Neville. With so few constraints I decided to have fun.
I always liked the sound of the Auror Office. Dropping this lot into the middle of it was too tempting to resist.
