Nabbed this from [livejournal.com profile] dolabellae because, really, who could resist...

HASH(0x8d52e54)
Native-American Seer and Remus Lupin's One True
Love

You are the exchange student from hell. You are a
Ravenclaw, a Seer, a multi-animal Animagus, and
you randomly spout very short sentences of
deep, Zen-ish philosophy. Remus Lupin confides
his lycanthropy to you in 24 hours flat. You
are responsible for teaching the Marauders to
become Animagi. You will warn the Marauders
about the traitor in their midst, you will
bring Lily and James together, you will send
James to help Snape when Sirius plays the prank
because you have Seen this, you will tell Lily
the way to defeat Voldemort when he comes after
her son In short, you will either forsee or
facilitate all major and minor canon events,
which is ironic because your author
conveniently overlooks the fact that youve
never been mentioned in canon despite all that.

You see, you get the whole seeing-what-is-fated-whilst-not-being-able-to-avert-it torment, and Remus. Just not fair.

Do you like my new icon? Have known picture (Gainsborough, of his nephew)and loved it for ages. Have recently started associating it with Regulus (though would have to be in rather old-fashioned dress robes, I admit). At the very least some Black ancestor...

I'm just speshul ;)

Oh, I see what you mean. It does look like Regulus. It's the right mixture of arrogance and vulnerability.

My mental image of the Slytherins tends to look like something out of Brideshead Revisited/Nancy Mitford. The Black sisters are so obviously inspired by the Mitfords and it just seems to fit.

Enjoying your new icon-powers, I see. ;)

arrogance and vulnerability. Too right. Kills me every time, in lit, and unfortunately also in real life.

I must get round to reading Mitford-stuff soon. I will obviously love it, given Waugh/Powell enthusiasm, so not sure why I'm holding back.

I love my new icons. Worth every penny of the fifteen pounds. I still have 9 new ones to add, and will savour each new acquistion. Here, have an Anthony Powell.
