Remus is, quite possibly, the sweetest person ever. I didn't even notice the absence of owls from the last couple installments, but once I saw Remus and his plan, it all made sense. Really, the sweetest person ever!
I reckon you may be getting sick of all the coo-ing comments... but your fic is sooo adorable! It's hard not to say "awwww" every time I read it!
